Jason and the Argonauts
A Family Adventure
written by Phil Willmott with lyrics by Howard Jaques and music by Geoff Menzer
based on the classic tale

Clamber aboard the mighty ship Argo to join the heroic Prince Jason, plucky princess Medea, Hercules and all the gang for a lively retelling of the greatest adventure story ever told! Our heroes must overcome monsters, tricksters and tempests if they're to capture the mythical goldenfleece they need to defeat Jason's evil uncle and win back the kingdom.

This ancient legend has enchanted people of all ages inspiring 1950s Hollywood, modern game designers and storytelling down the centuries. This brand new version especially conceived for the Scoop at More London injects a little brainiac science into the mix too to keep modern kids intrigued and on their toes. Expect all the knockabout comedy, toe-tapping songs, ingenious puppetry and summer fun that make the Steam Industry's free family shows an unmissable teatime treat in The Scoop at More London.

Medea
A specially commissioned translation of Euripides' celebrated revenge drama by Stella Duffy.

But what happened next?

As the sun sets there's a chance for older audiences to enjoy the intrigue, scandal and heart-stopping suspense of a celebrity marriage in crisis as the adult Jason and Medea's love is tested to its limits.

When King Jason is lured away by a new princess, Medea plots the famous and terrible revenge that has shocked audiences for thousands of years. Is she right to act as she does?

Join the debate as we re-imagine the ancient drama in a lively, modern production embracing the magnificence of More London's riverside architecture. The Steam Industry team return to the plays of ancient Greece by popular demand after past award-winning productions of Oedipus, Agamemnon, Cyclops, Helen of Troy and Children of Hercules by the same author attracted huge crowds and international critical acclaim.
